Had an arguement with dad early today. It's quite normal in my family. Dad loves to throw stupid tantrums and i love to bitch. Bad Clash. Bad results. Bad ending. What this time? Ariel (that lil brad!) told dad that Angela and I did not let her use the computer. Adding to that untrue statement, she said that our cousins are computer experts (in games only la!) and that her grades for IT are very low (YES! She is taking basic IT education in primary school and getting a B is not low!!!). Dad then blamed me and Angela for hogging the laptop and PC for our "leisure" use when in fact, both of us are rushing assignments and work. As usual, dad then lashes out on mum without thinking whether whatever an 8-year-old said is true or not. I overheard the commotion, jumped off my bed, abandoning MSN to see what happened. Once there, dad started scolding, yelling at me as if it was my fault. Tried talking some sense into him but he started being loud. Then, I was loud. Mum became louder. Dad shuts mum out. I shut Dad out. Ariel looked lost. Dad shouted back at me, I shouted back. Dragged Ariel upstairs. Dad continued his volcano eruptionsss and I went down stairs again, throwing profanity ... or rather profanities. Then, there was silence - Dad went for his Teh Tarik. So drama rite? Sigh* Mum was upset and dissapointed the way her husband handle the scenario and that includes me as well. I don't know - I just burst when people start doing or saying stupid things. Managed to catch a word with mum later. She's ok. I am ok. Ariel was asleep soon after that, Angela came back from her work after a long conversation with me on the phone and Dad - came back, brushed his teeth, ignored everyone and head straight to bed. It's just so dumb. Waste my voice and energy only. Can't dads just listen and react wisely? |

Arguments are part of every family or relationship. It's normal, as long as people ACTUALLY resolve it than to shove it aside.

err..duno about this until today.....i guess n think u r ok..anyhow,next time dun shout ler...maybe let them finish everything (those scolding n shouting...then calm down)...then u start talking lo...ll work better,i guess.. ;)
