Didn't have dinner as mum forgot to inform me that she did not prepare dinner. Anyhow it was my fault for coming home late from school. Had GC class till 6, a meeting to 7 and the journey back was about 5o min. Called Brian @ LPC (Lau Pak Chap - you gotta ask a chinese for the meaning ... LOL) and he was not around. Thus, I made a brief appointment with Jenny for late dinner at 9pm. We went to a nearby mamak and I had those cute lil 80cent snack. Cheap but high in protein. The cup of tea was really small. Jenny said I need to drink at least 5 cups!, cos the portion was so minimal. It begin to rain a while and it stopped.
After that, LPC wanted to join us. Thus we moved on to our next location. While waiting for LPC's call to confirm where are we eating, Jenny and I dropped by at the lil lorry ala steamboat on-the-spot and I took some shells. In cantonese, they called it "SeeHamm". That's the only thing I take by the way ... out of almost 30varieties of food ready to be dipped into the boiling water (I dont think its soup!).
After that, we picked Chooi Yin up for our initial steamboat dinner-supper but all three shop we went to was closed. We started thinking real hard and headed to Char Chan Teng instead. Lazy decision makers. It is this HongKong lil cafe like thinge, except that they have like hundreds of things to eat. We ordered fasinating drinks there. Here are the big-tall-all-you-can-drink-while-you-chat drinks;
from L-R Mocha+Coke Ice blended, Iced Passion Fruit, Green Tea Lemon, Chocolate Ice Cream blend (Jenny @ the back) Anyhow - we had some light snacks ... again, as it was almost 12 and heavy meal is a big nono at this kinda time (pinching myself for saying that). LPC ordered this XO egg-bread thinge which is quite nice! Great texture, nice bowl, wonderful aroma but bad portion. As for me, my RM4.80 waffer came with a scoop of pink strawberry ice-cream *I-HATE-STRAWBERRY ICE-CREAM* covered with peanut butter and a small splited-banana with a cute pink umbrella. I know! Pink! But could you imagine how the waffer look like?
... Yup! That is how it looked like. Pretty yuck and it was about 0.5cm thick. Stingy cafe! Nothing nice there. All expensive and not pretty. You will find the menu - dull and ugly. On the contrast, thumbs up for the drinks.
Tx guys, I had a great time! Its always great to have good company!!!
PS - I got my offer for Deakin Uni, Melbourne. ;-)
