Despite waking up early in the morning without having enough sleep, chasing after trams, missing trains and ended up being late for a 10am meet with Rebecca (the girl who sold me 2nd hand books but most of the books are outdated; so she is giving me a refund - I am beginning to think everyone in Aust are nice!) - I manage to stay up and kept going until now - blogging in the lab.
I was shopping at Bridge Road today. Bought some really nice polo tees. Good material, good cutting, good price, good brand and good service (which you will never find in KL). I practically like tried almost 7-8 polo tees, all different sizes and colours. That is not the point, it is the fact that - there is this sales girl that attends to me with such a friendly service; smiles and all nice but she gives me enough proximity and comfort to look at the clothes on my own. Moreover; the polo tees are the cheapest item in the store and there were other customers around the store browsing on items which definetely required her attention more than me, but she proceeds to serve me with such a degree of politeness that I felt that I was in some big brand store; LV or not. I was certainly fussy, but she was so nice. Not only that, her other colleagues are also very friendly. I felt like a royal family doing shopping. Now that's what I call a shopping experience!
Then, I went over to Ikea - bought myself a comforter, candles, plants and a new set of quilt cover. Yes I know I am so women - Don't have to tell me twice *andrewkin winks at Eva*
Later, Ayesha invited us to Chapel St. Me and Eva was getting ready to go - until we remember that Grace has her church thinge tonight. She wanted to come along with us but her commitment is her priority. We decided that we should go together - next time. Sorry Ayesha dear ~~~
Being the I-cannot-stay-at-home-on-a-friday-night-guy; I dragged Eva out about 9pm to K-Mart Plaza. I didn't care what time was the last tram and how long we have to wait. Friday night was a big nono to just sit around at home and do practically nothing interesting. Eva was reluctant at first but I managed to convince her to go at the end. We waited for the tram and acted a bimbo blonde scene (think of Legally Blonde meets Jessica Simpson). We were impersonating blondes, talking with that british weird accent until the tram arrives. We called the short-scene; Purple Brunette and Pink Blonde.
At Kmart Plaza, we ended up buying DVDs @ Video Ezy. I bought my 1st original DVD; The Green Mile at $8.95. That is nothing compared to the DVD and CD freako *andrewkin winks at Eva again* who spends so much on Dvds since she arrived! Then, we went to Coles and walked every single aisle and the same thing applies with K-Mart. It was about 2 hours of nothing interesting except for a really cute guy @ Coles that we saw. Classic look. Very the Jude Law one!
As we waited for the tram to arrive and pick us up to home (which took like almost 30min), Me and Eva ended up singing and munching on a packet of Smith's Chip that we bought. It was fun ... too bad Grace wasn't around to hear us sing but I bet she could hear us if she concentrates hard enough! HAHAHA. We sang with pride and the volume of our voice was so loud that other waiting passengers from the other side of the terminal stop actually looked at us and flashed us a friendly smile. We smiled back.
You see ... when you sing in Melbourne out loud - it's quite normal (of course that is if you sing properly and have the courage and guts to voice out your lyrics). It was fun. We sang so many different type of Fever rendition - the Michael Buble's version, the Xtina Aguilera's version, the Elvis Presley version and of course the Eva Andrew's version (which is not bad; both tenor voices!) hahaha *andrewkin smiles at Eva
Anyhow, Eva and I planned to have our 1st picnic at Fitzroy Garden next friday. Since the sun only goes down at 8pm here; we might as well spend some time reading at parks and enjoy the wonderful scene of cute dogs running around, cute kids running around and cute men running around! hahaha
PS- Eva says hi
